Listen…. Ask I say this… Mariah is a wonderful human and an absolute force in fashion. From day one, she saw my vision, my potential, and the bigger picture before I even fully had the words for it. She helped me formulate not just ideas, but confidence!! Mariah assisted me in thinking bolder, move smarter, and trust my creative instincts. Every moment working with her felt inspiring, affirming, and full of purpose.

What makes Mariah truly special is that her mentorship feels fun and SUPER genuine. She has seen many phases of me… from sadness/grief to happiness & acceptance… because it took me almost 9 months to finish, BUT I DID IT! LOL.

I walked away not only with direction and clarity, but with the feeling that I gained a long-term friend and creative ally. This is only the beginning, and I’m so excited for what’s ahead!!!

I took Mariah’s Introduction to Sewing & Machine Basics course and it was the perfect introduction to sewing. The course was incredibly thorough while still being approachable and perfectly paced. Mariah covered everything from threading the machine, understanding different stitches and fabrics, hand-sewing techniques, taking measurements, sewing seams and hems, installing zippers, and even the basics of reading a pattern.

One of my favorite parts was how hands-on and well-structured the course was. Mariah always demonstrated each skill first, then gave me time to practice while providing thoughtful, real-time feedback. She was extremely patient, checked in often to make sure I was understanding the material, and was always happy to explain things again if needed.

The experience felt very intentional and supportive. During our second session, we even took a fun outing to a nearby fabric store, where I got to see and feel the different fabrics she had taught me about. In the final session, I put all my skills together and made a super cute summer dress, which felt so empowering as a beginner!

Mariah also went above and beyond with materials. She provided a personalized binder with clear printouts covering everything we learned and a sewing kit with all the essentials. I truly felt like I walked away with both the knowledge and the tools to continue creating on my own.

I can’t recommend this course enough. Mariah is an excellent instructor, and I’m really looking forward to taking another class with her in the future!

Mariah is AMAZING! I had my 30th birthday coming up and had ordered the most beautiful dress. The only issue was that it was extremely long where I couldn’t even walk in it in heels. And even though the dress was stunning, I didn’t feel stunning in it. Mariah worked her magic and with her alterations made be feel so beautiful for my special day.
